What is Salon Booking?
Salon Booking is online booking and reminder software for New Zealand salons and barbers. Clients choose a service, staff member and free time on your website or hosted booking page.
How much does Salon Booking cost?
The planned launch price is NZ$39 a month for one shop. It includes unlimited staff, online booking and WhatsApp or email reminders. Final GST treatment will be shown before checkout.
Does the price increase when I add staff?
No. The NZ$39 plan is priced per shop, not per staff member. Each person can have their own hours, services and time off.
Does Salon Booking charge commission on new clients?
No. Salon Booking does not run a consumer marketplace and does not take commission from a new client booking.
Can clients book on my salon website?
Yes. The booking widget is designed to sit inside an existing website and inherit basic brand colours. A hosted Salon Booking page is available when a shop does not have a suitable website.
Which reminders are included?
The product is designed for booking confirmation, 24-hour and two-hour reminders through WhatsApp or email. Telegram can be used where a client has linked it.
Does it include POS, stock or payroll?
No. Salon Booking is deliberately focused on services, staff hours, appointments, reminders and client details. It does not include POS, stock, payroll or marketplace features in the first version.
Can it check Google Calendar?
The product plan includes Google Calendar availability checks and calendar event syncing for staff who connect an account. This integration must complete launch testing before it is presented as live.
